Gratitude. Such a simple word and yet how many of us practice this on a daily basis?
We often have many things to be grateful for. A loving family, a healthy body, wonderful friends, the list goes on and on. For those who are facing many challenges in their lives, there is always something to be grateful for. The attitude of gratitude will keep you positive in a world that seems so negative at times.
One way to remind yourself is to keep a gratitude journal beside your bed. When you wake up, write down 3 things you are grateful for. It can be as mundane as “I am thankful and grateful that I had a good night’s sleep.” Before you sleep, write down 3 things you are grateful for. In time, you will start seeing the goodness in your life & hopefully that will help you gain peace.
