I got this idea from Fly Lady. I have to admit that it’s brilliant & works most of the time for me. It’s based on the concept that you can do a ton in 15 mins and not even realize it!
- A timer
- 15 mins block of time
Set your timer for 15 mins & work on decluttering your chosen area! It could be your hallway, kitchen, dining table, etc. Just work till the timer goes off & you’re done. If you’re determined, do 15 mins in the morning & 15 mins in the evening. 🙂 You’ll be amazed at how much you can achieve in 15 mins!
Exception: Sometimes I find that 5 mins blocks work better for me in certain areas. I’ll work 5 mins. Reset the timer, then move to another chosen area. 🙂
Remember, 15 mins per day is all you need 🙂
